Licensed tour guide & historian
I am Benoît Collas, licensed tour guide and historian in Paris, where I was born, raised and live today.
When I was a student I firstly graduated in law, but I quitted because I chose to follow my passion: History. Then I graduated from the Sorbonne university, and my Master thesis about the bouillons restaurants history won 2 prizes.
Afterward I discovered the fantastic job of tour guide and obtained the national license.
Besides, I have my heart set on continuing my historical researches: in 2023 I had the opportunity to publish my first book, L’Invention des cafés parisiens (publisher: Parigramme), and I am currently preparing my PhD thesis.
